Membership addons can use this filter hook to check whether or not the user can see the page content:
/**
* Check whether the content is restricted by a membership
* plugin. If it does, show a restriction text.
*
* Otherwise, display the page content.
*
* @since 1.0.0

$content = esc_html__( 'Forbidden', 'textdomain' );
return;
}
return $content;
}
